Plans call for the conversion of the Old Floral City Fire Station into Heritage Hall, which will contain a Heritage Hall Museum with Museum Country Store, Floral City Heritage Council offices and repository, a youth center and a Sheriff's Sub-station. During the building of the new library, a temporary library has been set up in the Old Fire Station with the front bay area devoted to a Heritage Corner of historic photos and a gathering place. A Museum Country Store offers a walking/driving Tour Guide to Floral City; history booklets; shirts: tees, tanks and sweats; reproductions of historic postcards; historic Florida maps; children's toys and many other items.
